The opportunity

Our team is striving to deliver products of high quality that our customers love. This means that we are actively working on improving both the way we work and the systems/tools we use. During the last years, we have started to invest in systems running on Linux and now we’re ready to take the next step on that journey.

Our belief is that, while auto test suites will rid us of boring and repetitive work, they will never replace a skilled, intuitive test engineer who enjoys exploratory and risk-based testing. Just like you are!

So, what would we like you to do? Your focus will be to build up a test structure and test plans for Linux products and make sure the quality of the software is on the highest level. Since we’re also looking into new products, it’s basically a blank paper where you can be the author.

We’re currently at the beginning of a new phase at Beijer Electronics which means that the timing to join us couldn’t be more perfect.

Just like everyone else, we would like you to know a lot about many things. To narrow it down a bit, it would be great if you could tick some of the boxes below.

You have:

• Experience in test automation and creating automated tests
• Hands-on experience of working in Linux
• You are well acquainted with various test methods and test methodologies
• Understanding of non-functional requirements and how to test them
• Great skills in English, both verbal and written
• Experience in providing structured information about the quality of the product

A pure bonus is if you:

• Worked with industrial automation industry and HMIs before
• Knowledge of security testing
• DevOps experience
